A question we get asked frequently is about the Cliffs Communities fees and dues. Here is the list of what each development charges. If you have any questions regarding the Cliffs Communities, please write or call at any time.
Cliffs Communities Golf Membership
The Golf Membership provides members with unlimited access to the Cliffs' collection of seven golf courses through their reciprocal play program. As a Golf Member, you enjoy 30-day advance tee times and Club-sponsored Member golf events at your home course. Members have full access to wellness centers, clubhouses, dining and marina facilities; as well as outdoor activity areas, including hiking and walking trails, private parks and pavilions.
Cliffs Communities Sports Membership
The Sports Membership provides the Cliffs Community with a recreational, fitness and social membership. This membership entitles you to full use of The Cliffs’ wellness centers, clubhouses, dining and marina facilities; and full access to outdoor activity areas, including hiking and walking trails, private parks and pavilions. Sports Members have the opportunity to experience The Cliffs’ courses with nominal fees and have access with a two-day advance tee time. The Sports Membership offers limited golf privileges per year for each member of your family.
Cliffs Communities Wellness Membership
The Wellness Membership provides you with a recreational, fitness and social membership. This membership entitles you to full use of The Cliffs’ wellness centers, clubhouses, dining and marina facilities; and full access to outdoor activity areas, including hiking and walking trails, private parks andpavilions.
Cliffs Communities Social Membership
A Social Membership provides eligibility to participate in social events (other than Golf, Sports or Wellness related events) and entitles you to full use of The Cliffs’ dining facilities; and full access to outdoor activity areas, including hiking and walking trails, private parks and pavilions.
Cliffs Communities Residence Club Membership
(Only Applicable for Resident Club Homes at Keowee Springs)
A Residence Club Membership provides similar privileges as Full Golf while such Member is in residence at the Club. A Cliffs Residence Club Member must have a confirmed reservation at the Residence Club and be physically present in order to have access to all Club Facilities and privileges.
Dues paid by credit card are subject to a convenience fees as described in the Membership Plan.
Monthly statements are sent to the e-mail address provided on the submitted application. A $3 statement fee will be charged for Members that request a mailed statement.
Annual Food and Beverage Minimum Program
The food minimum is a required amount Members are responsible to spend each year on food and beverage in the Clubs. All food and beverage, including alcohol, consumed in the Clubs count towards this minimum. Prepared food, such as take-out orders, private catered events, and in-home Club-catered events count towards the minimum. Wine purchased from the Club, but not consumed, does not count towards the minimum.
Members have from January 1 to December 31 of each year to meet the required minimum. Members are charged at the end of the membership year for any balance not met.
Non-Resident Members, as defined in the scope of the Membership, are those living outside a 125-mile radius of any Cliffs Club and without a residence on their property, are asked to spend a minimum of $600 annually.
All fees are subject to applicable sales taxes.
